TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

Day 1: Depart from New York or Washington, DC for your flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.

Day 2: Johannesburg Arrival. Transfer to Cape Town...check into Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Day 3: Relax and Shop: Today you will be taken to Access Park, famous for its more than 50 factory shops,  hailed as one of the biggest shopping centers in the Southern Hemisphere.

Day 4: Leisure, High Tea, and Beadworking: Enjoy an interactive workshop in the City, where you will produce and keep three items, and then onto high tea at the famed Mount Nelson Hotel

Day 5: Botanical Gardens: Partake in a half-day tour of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. With over 3,500 species of Flora and Fauna

Day 6:  Transfer to Winelands: Stop for a ‘Cook-up' at Kamamma’s’ lunch. This takes place at the home of a matriarch in Stellenbosch and includes a meal of traditional Xhosa fare and a talk about the culture and lifestyle.  Later visit the Huguenot Chocolate Factory for a 40 minute demonstration and tasting.

Day 7: A day of pampering! Today you will be transferred to the Zevenwacht Farm near Stellenbosch where the therapists of Mangwanani Spa have a host of treats in store for you on their African Revitalization Package. 

Day 8:  Transfer to Game Reserve: 

Day 9: Safari: This morning enjoy game viewing in this spectacular wildlife kingdom. Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing around the pool or perhaps take a siesta to make up for the early morning wake-up call. In the afternoon you will be taken on another unforgettable safari through the unspoiled African bush.

Day 10: Transfer to Johannesburg

Upon arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport, you will go through customs, then connect with your domestic flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by our English speaking guide and transferred to your beautiful hotel.
